There’s something about creamy pasta dishes that feels like pure comfort. Whenever I want a restaurant-quality dinner at home, I go straight for this creamy garlic shrimp pasta. It’s rich, buttery, and comes together in less than 30 minutes — the kind of dish that makes any night feel special.
Ingredients
- 200g fettuccine or spaghetti
- 300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. In a large skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp and pour cream into the pan. Stir in parmesan until smooth and creamy. Return the shrimp, toss with the pasta, and season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley.
Personal Tip
I sometimes add a squeeze of lemon juice right before serving — it brightens the sauce beautifully.
Why I Love It
It’s indulgent, simple, and elegant. A pasta that feels fancy but is easy enough for a weeknight dinner.
