Cinnamon French Toast

    Some mornings just feel like French toast mornings. You know what I mean? When the air is quiet, the kitchen light is soft, and you crave something cozy and sweet. That’s when I reach for eggs, milk, and a bit of cinnamon.

    What You’ll Need:

    • 4 slices of bread (brioche if you’re feeling fancy)
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • Butter for frying
    • Maple syrup for serving

    How I Make It:
    I whisk the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla together in a bowl. Then, I dip each slice of bread in the mixture — not too long, just enough to soak up the flavor without falling apart.
    In a pan, I melt butter and fry each slice until golden and slightly crisp at the edges.

    I top it with a drizzle of syrup, a dusting of powdered sugar, and sometimes fresh berries. It’s breakfast magic in less than 10 minutes.
