Whenever I’m craving fast food but want to skip the guilt, I make these baked chicken tenders. They’re crunchy, juicy, and way better than anything that comes in a paper bag.
You’ll Need:
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- Salt, pepper, and paprika
- Olive oil spray
Here’s What I Do:
I season the flour with salt, pepper, and paprika. Then dip each chicken strip in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs.
They go on a baking sheet, lightly sprayed with olive oil, and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes — flipping halfway.
They come out golden and crisp. I serve them with honey mustard or BBQ sauce, depending on my mood.
My Take:
It’s comfort food reinvented — crunchy outside, tender inside, and no frying required.
