Fluffy Pancakes with Maple Syrup

    Nothing beats waking up to a stack of warm, fluffy pancakes. They’re comforting, fun to make, and the smell fills your kitchen with happiness. This pancake recipe is my personal favorite because it’s soft, airy, and perfectly golden. Add some maple syrup and fresh fruit, and you’ve got a breakfast worth savoring.

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • 1 1/4 cups milk
    • 1 egg
    • 3 tablespoons melted butter
    • Butter or oil for cooking

    Instructions

    1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
    2. In another bowl, beat milk, egg, and melted butter together.
    3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Don’t overmix!
    4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease.
    5. Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden.
    6. Repeat with remaining batter.
